Calstock Festival 2013……..there will be an anouncement soon!

Hi friends of Calstock Festival. Sorry we have been so quiet lately…..there will be an anouncement soon about what is to happen this year and for any future events.
The delay is because some core crew are moving on to pastures new and the remaining ones deciding how we go forward…if at all…after the quite awful scenes of violence outside on the Saturday night. As well as the safety of all those attending, we need to consider the effect of the festival on the community, in which most of us live, to which we have a responsibility to reduce any potential disruption and danger.
We will post news soon – thank you all for likes and messages  over the past few months, we will attempt to answer all the messages we have received.
One love
The Calstock Collective crew

Workshops to Delight, Amaze and Inspire !

There is now a full workshop programme…something for all ages…and all FREE or for a donation if you can afford. So if you want to help build a new skate ramp…try belly dancing…create willow creatures….participate in some knitting mayhem!!

There are so many things to get involved in! For full details go to the Stalls and Workshops section on the menu and look out for the info boards at the festival.

Festival Programmes Are Ready !

The very wonderful festival programme is ready and for sale at local outlets. For just £1 you can find out what is happening…where and when – and support the festival too!! A big thank you to the programme team – especially Alex and Sam, who worked so hard to put it together. You can buy them from Levines shop, Plush Hair and Beauty, The Limekiln Gallery, The Old Chapel Arts Centre and the Tamar Inn – as well as the local shop in Gunnislake. Programmes will also be for sale throughout the festival  - look out for them!

Park and Ride Update……..

Attention! Park ‘n’ Ride !!!

Hey all, the Park ‘n Ride bus will be available again this year on Saturday 9th June from 12-6pm (or just after). It will operate as usual from the big junction and along the road to the church at the top of the hill and bring people to the bus stop on the quay in the village. Visitors can park all along the top road right up as far as the church. As before, it is running free of charge but any donations are welcome!

It is really important that as many people as possible use the Park ‘n’ Ride on the Saturday. It is usually the busiest time during the festival and we need to make sure that people don’t park right down the road into Calstock as the local buses will still be operating and there needs to be room for emergency services to get through if they need to. So please, please, please use the P’n'R bus!!!
